Job summary

Ramp is hiring a founding Privacy engineer to build a privacy program that powers growth while earning trust from customers and prospects. You will craft privacy-focused primitives, collaborate across teams to deploy secure solutions, and implement data retention and anonymization strategies across Ramp's infrastructure.

The role requires at least 4 years building software, with 2+ years focused on privacy/security, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience building software.
• Experience focusing on platform, privacy, and/or security (2+ years).
• Ability to translate business ideas into engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build privacy-focused application primitives and integrate them into existing products.
• Partner with other engineering teams to design and deploy privacy-centric and secure solutions.
• Improve, implement, and deploy data retention and anonymization strategies across the environment.
• Track shifting legal standards and update Ramp systems accordingly.
