Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Five years of legal experience required.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Maryland bar eligibility within 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy obligations including FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, GLBA and related laws.
• Oversee daily operations of the university's privacy program.
• Serve as primary contact for non-clinical data privacy compliance.
• Develop, implement and maintain privacy policies and standards.
• Advise on cybersecurity, data governance, and incident response coordination.
