Job summary

Amazon’s Privacy Legal team seeks a talented attorney to tackle complex privacy questions across the company’s businesses, with a focus on Amazon’s advertising ecosystem.

You will advise business leaders and cross‑functional partners on global privacy laws, develop and implement privacy policies, monitor new rules, and help build privacy infrastructure with technology teams, while explaining practices to regulators and customers.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing ongoing privacy counsel across Amazon Ads and other Amazon businesses, including data minimization, data sharing, data subject access rights, and the intersection of privacy and AI.
• Advising on global privacy laws and regulations and developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with technology teams to implement privacy infrastructure, and addressing privacy concerns with cross-functional teams.
• Explaining policies and practices to regulators and customers in coordination with public policy and PR teams.
