Job summary

Amazon's Privacy Legal team seeks a skilled attorney to counsel on global privacy laws and regulatory developments, with emphasis on Amazon Ads. You will help develop privacy policies, monitor new laws, and work with technology teams implementing privacy infrastructure across Amazon and its subsidiaries.

The role involves collaboration with public policy, PR, and other teams to explain policies to regulators and customers, and to support privacy initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• 2+ years of legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing ongoing privacy counsel across Amazon Ads and other Amazon businesses, including data minimization, data sharing, data subject access rights, and the intersection of privacy and AI.
• You’ll help develop and implement privacy policies and procedures, monitor new US and global privacy laws and regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address privacy concerns and implement best practices.
