Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives, logs, investigates and responds to patient privacy requests and complaints.
• Implements state privacy policies and breach response plans.
• Logs disclosures and coordinates with hospital divisions per law.
• Updates management on HIPAA issues and recommends solutions.
• Gathers, tabulates and analyzes data for operational needs.
• Leads and coordinates the Release of Information process.
• Provides HIPAA training and orientation to new staff.
