Job summary

Google seeks a dedicated Privacy Assurance Tester in the LA area to lead ongoing oversight, controls assurance, and programmatic compliance across privacy commitments. You will act as a second-line assurance lead to ensure governance and control effectiveness.

Collaborate with Product, Legal, Security, Regulatory Affairs, Policy Specialists, and Internal Audit to align testing playbooks, risk reviews, and remediation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
• Experience managing cross-functional compliance programs within technology, cloud, or global platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional privacy assurance programs for regulatory commitments and report progress.
• Oversee documentation of privacy controls across databases, architectures, and product lifecycles.
• Perform risk-based control reviews and drive remediation with governance systems.
