Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support the HIPAA Privacy Program on the Tucson campus. This role coordinates program activities, assists with privacy risk assessments, and collaborates with multiple departments to strengthen privacy controls and training across the university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HIPAA program activities across departments and colleges designated as HIPAA Covered Components.
• Participate in HIPAA risk assessments and annual reviews of HIPAA components.
• Document assessment results; track action items and remediation activities.
