Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Protestant Chaplain designation.
• Eligible for state employment; candidates must gain eligibility via the required Exam Information process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular daily and/or weekly worship services, special religious services on holidays, and memorial/funeral services.
• Provide pastoral visiting to hospitals, housing units, work programs, and families of incarcerated people.
• Provide individual, family, grief, marital, and pre-release counseling as needed.
• Ensure weekly religious services/visits are provided to all incarcerated individuals.
