Position

Jr. DevOps Engineer – Columbia, MD (Hybrid) – Full‑time, entry‑level.

Responsibilities

This role supports a U.S. Government customer and sustains critical mission‑related software and systems. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively within a team of experienced engineers, assisting with deployment pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and continuous integration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or five years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and collaboratively.

Key Skills

• Kubernetes, Docker, Docker‑compose, Helm, Git, GitLab, GitLab Runners, Rancher, Linux command line tools.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Dockerized micro‑service architecture.
• AWS tools such as CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, and DynamoDB.
