Position: Prior Authorization Specialist (Remote to Indiana)
  1. Accurately submit claims, follow up with payers, and appeal denials as required.
  2. Maintain the accuracy of patient financial files, including written and computer documentation.
  3. Assist patients/guarantors with claim payments in accordance with hospital financial policies.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Experience in medical billing and coding preferred.
  3. Two to three years of prior collection experience, with substance abuse/psychiatric experience preferred.
  4. Evening hours required.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills preferred.
