Job summary

HealthCare Support is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist - CPhT in Orlando, FL to join a growing PBM organization. In this collaborative role, you’ll advise clients on pharmacy benefit strategies and help manage drug spend.

The position offers Mon-Fri schedule 8:30-5, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have CPhT certification.
• 5 years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience in claims adjudication and prior authorization.
• Experience in a PBM or health plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient administrative and operational support to adjudication, prior authorization, and clinical review teams.
• Accurately process claim overrides and case documentation in accordance with SOPs.
• Proactively monitor case queues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll serve as a trusted clinical advisor to clients, helping develop pharmacy benefit and clinical strategies that improve outcomes, manage drug spend, and deliver measurable value.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation

• $24.50/hour - $30.60/hour

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide efficient administrative and operational support to adjudication, prior authorization, and clinical review teams.
• Accurately process claim overrides and case documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Proactively monitor case queues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
• 5 years of pharmacy experience
• 2 years in claims adjudication
• 2 years in prior authorization processes
• 2 years of experience in a PBM OR health plan
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering concierge-level service
