Job summary

Interim Healthcare in Bloomington, MN, seeks an Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist (MA/CMA/RMA/LPN) to support a centralized Medication Prior Authorization team. This role involves no direct patient care and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Candidates will process high volumes of prior authorizations in EPIC In Basket, review documentation, submit requests, track and appeal denials, and collaborate with providers, pharmacies, and insurers.

Qualifications

• MA, CMA, RMA, or active LPN required.
• 1+ year of processing medication prior authorizations within EPIC.
• Strong Epic proficiency, including In Basket workflows.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of medication prior authorizations, including GLP-1s.
• Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests.

Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist: MA/CMA/RMA/LPN

Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No direct patient care

Pay rates:

CMA/RMA/MA: Up to $40.81 per hour, depending on experience!

LPN: Up to $49.82 per hour, depending on experience!

We are seeking experienced Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist to support a centralized Medication Prior Authorization team with high-volume Epic In Basket work.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of medication prior authorizations, including self-administered medications such as GLP-1s
• Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests
• Track requests, follow up on additional information, and assist with denials/appeals
• Use Epic, RightFax, softphone, and related systems
• Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies

Requirements:

• MA, CMA, RMA, or active LPN
• 1 or more years of processing medication prior authorizations within the EPIC system
• Previous experience with complex medication prior authorizationsli>
• Strong Epic proficiency, including In Basket workflows
• Strong organization, accuracy, and communication skill
