Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a remote, full-time Pharmacy Technician to support providers with prior authorizations. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, document requests, and ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling in a fast-paced call center environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail, hospital, managed care, insurance, or PBM.
• Active pharmacy technician license.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to prior authorization requests and provider inquiries.
• Accurately process and document prior authorization requests within required timeframes.
• Provide courteous and knowledgeable support to healthcare providers across multiple communication platforms (phone, email, fax, web).
• Ensure all communications and data handling are compliant with HIPAA and internal confidentiality protocols.

The pay range for this position is $38,400.00 - $54,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
