Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a Printing Technician to operate digital inkjet printing in our customization cells. The role emphasizes troubleshooting equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting customization functions to maintain throughput.

The 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–11:00pm CST) stresses safety, quality control, teamwork, and 6S housekeeping. You will read work orders, detect defects, and ensure printers run at high quality with clear communication to the Graphics

Qualifications

Automation/Technical knowledge is preferred.
Ability to understand how to troubleshoot equipment.
Willing to develop technical skills through in-depth training.
Possess general level of experience in digital printing.
Operator experience is preferred.
Has worked within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Support and comply with safety and security policies to promote a healthy work environment.
Ensure Quality Control to achieve high standards for production of customer orders.
Working with a team.
Adhere to housekeeping standards – 6S.
When necessary, read work orders and execute details for production orders.
Responsible for detecting defects during print and assembly production.
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment – including respond to indicator lights and display screens and adjust machine components as needed.
Must be able to communicate technical status to Graphics Lead on 1st shift operation’s team
