An established industry player seeks a Print Scanning Technician to join their Office of Information Technology. Regular Schedule: 34 hours per week

DEFINITION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Under close supervision, operate and maintain reproduction equipment used for in-house printing and document scanning services.

Required Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
Education:Possession of a high School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:Six months’ experience in operating reproduction equipment and/or scanning equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Entry-level)
This position is required to be on-site, every day. There is an occasional (one – two times per year) need for flexibility with scheduled hours for special print requests, which may require working weekend or evening hours.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
The work of this classification entails frequent walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and the operation of equipment requiring the use of coordinative and manipulative skills. Some duties require exposure to potentially hazardous conditions such as chemicals and the moving parts of a machine. Applicant must have the ability to lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds, as required.
Employment Background InvestigationIncumbents must be of good moral character and emotionally stable. Applicants selected for an appointment to a position in Baltimore County must successfully complete an employment background investigation, including, but not limited to a criminal background, education, and fingerprint check.
