Kenmore Envelope Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled press operator to print envelopes on a sheet-fed offset press. You will set up and adjust the KBA press, perform color and register corrections, and maintain print quality to meet specifications.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, performing routine press repairs and maintenance, and following shop procedures. A high school diploma and 3 years of KBA press experience are required; night shift available with competitive pay.

Job Purpose

To print envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime

Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Responsible for making ready, operating, and maintaining sheet-fed offset printing press. This includes set-up and adjustment of KBA press for job runs to meet specifications. Make necessary color or register corrections and/or press adjustments prior to the production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.

Required Skills

Set up / adjust Koenig & Bauer - KBA press for job runs to meet specifications - comparable Heidleburg, Speedmaster experience
Perform document review to ensure job requirements are known and understood.
Monitor product quality during production runs.
Check product quality against the sample and established quality standards and make corrections as necessary.
Perform press repairs, maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning.
Follow Pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock, and samples
Maintain acceptable productivity standards while minimizing raw material waste
Perform additional duties as assigned.
