The Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns or issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
• Complete make-ready according to Job Ticket and Product Specification documents, ensuring correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Perform quality checks related to product specifications, visual and functional assessments, and press-side quality checks.
• Operate press to produce products according to customer specifications, maintaining quality, waste, and efficiency.
• Ensure consistent quality during production, focusing on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Complete procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as per BRC standards.
• Perform press make-ready efficiently and complete all maintenance duties.
• Clean plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricate press as needed.
• Input information into GlobeTek system accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience or training as a printing press operator.
• Physical ability to stand, feel, reach, talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
