The Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
- Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
- Complete make-ready according to the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents, ensuring correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
- Perform all required quality checks related to product specifications, including visual and functional checks, and press-side quality checks.
- Operate press to produce products according to customer specifications, maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and optimizing press efficiency.
- Maintain consistent quality during production, including critical checks such as copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion, ensuring conformance to quality standards.
- Follow all procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements outlined in the BRC standard.
- Complete press make-ready efficiently.
- Perform all equipment maintenance duties as required.
- Clean plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricate the press as needed.
- Enter all required information into the GlobeTeksystem accurately and promptly for material usage and time tracking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience as a printing press operator or related training.
