Job description

The Printing Process Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial printing press equipment and cutting machinery while ensuring high-quality production output. This role requires adherence to safety procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Compensation for this position ranges from $20.50 to $27.00 per hour, with the specific rate determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. Also included is a Site Bonus of 5%!




Responsibilities



  • Operate the Mark Andy 2200 Printing Press and Polar Cutter with precision, demonstrating technical proficiency and adherence to operational standards

  • Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain printing equipment according to job specifications

  • Apply attention to detail when monitoring print quality throughout production runs and making necessary adjustments

  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, when documenting processes and collaborating with team members

  • Utilize mathematical skills for precise measurements, calculations, and calibrations during printing operations

  • Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility when working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures

  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation




Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, experience in a printing environment a plus

  • Technical knowledge of printing processes, cutting procedures, and related equipment
