Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• KBA sheeted press experience (8/9 color).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read rulers, scales and other measurement devices.
• Adherence to all safety procedures when operating machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and product quality.
• Vision: close, color, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Exposure to noise, dust, odors and oils.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reads job orders and loads paper into the press.
• Fills the fountains.
• Cleans plates and print cylinders.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as required.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized, maintains housekeeping standards.
• Helps pressman with loading loads from the press.
• Speeds loads press feeder.
• Cleans blankets as needed.
