Responsibilities

• Execute press setups by managing plate installations, blanket adjustments, and cylinder packing to meet precise job specifications.
• Optimize production flow by monitoring ink levels, fountain solution conductivity, and replenishing consumables throughout the run.
• Ensure superior output quality by operating scanning densitometers and conducting regular visual inspections for color accuracy.
• Maintain equipment reliability through proactive preventative maintenance, roller changes, and routine cleaning of ink units and cylinders.
• Facilitate efficient material handling by staging finished products and assisting in the training of junior team members.
• Uphold a safe and organized workspace while strictly adhering to all operational and safety protocols.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a multi-color offset, flexographic, or gravure printing environment.
• Strong color vision and the ability to perform accurate color discrimination.
• Proficiency in basic math, including fractions and decimals.
