Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing production environment, preferably printing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of printing press operations, production processes, quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, job specifications, operating procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify production issues and determine corrective actions.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in managing day-to-day production activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Printing Press and production activities.
• Plan and coordinate production to meet customer, production, quality, and scheduling requirements.
• Establish work priorities and assign employees to equipment, jobs, and tasks based on production needs and qualifications.
• Monitor press performance, production rates, downtime, waste, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Carry out directives and priorities from the Plant Manager while supervising production staff.
• Identify bottlenecks, equipment issues, and quality concerns and determine corrective actions.
• Review production records to identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, quality requirements, and customer specs.
• Monitor material usage and production waste to minimize losses.
