RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Bring a positive attitude, self-motivation, and strong collaboration skills to team-based projects.
Review and assess client-submitted or in-house design files for print readiness, ensuring image and text accuracy.
Troubleshoot and correct issues related to layout, color, resolution, alignment, bleed, and binding adjustments.
Produce digital proofs for client or team feedback; revise and reissue as needed until final approval.
Perform final proof checks for clarity, alignment, and quality before initiating print runs.
Prepare finalized files for digital print output or plate-making workflows.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring software and hardware are well maintained.
Conduct light maintenance on prepress equipment, such as updating software and replacing consumables (e.g., ink, toner, plates).

Salary Range: $24-$27 per hour (DOE)

QUALIFICATIONS:

3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Prepress Operator within a commercial print production setting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for file tracking and coordination.
Familiarity with XMPie and Heidelberg Prinect workflow is a strong advantage.
Understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography is preferred
Prior experience in printing and binding processes is a plus.
