Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

The role of the Printing Department Floater is responsible for ensuring smooth operations across various areas of the printing department by providing hands-on support and contributing to the efficiency and quality of our print production processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Loader/Unloader to accurately place and arrange blank garments on the screen-printing machine.
• Confirm design details by verifying garment color and quantity of pieces for each print run.
• Work closely with the Printing Machine Operator to perform additional tasks as needed.
• Assist in the screening department when necessary.
• Prepare and mix ink for printing jobs when necessary.
• Verify the quality of the designs once garments are printed.
• Maintains and cleans the machine.
• Keeps all sensitive matters confidential.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to Operate fast-paced machinery.
• Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting/positioning of garments.
• Ability to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed.
• Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions (appropriate footwear).
  
  

Education And Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
