Job summary

Glenroy, Inc. is seeking a Printing Assistant in Menomonee Falls, WI to support press operators by preparing materials, mixing inks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards. You will work with production teams to deliver high-quality packaging materials shipped nationwide.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have basic math and measurement skills, and can read rulers. Prior flexo printing experience is preferred, with strong color matching and team collaboration abilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Flexo printing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
  • English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school math skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
  • Proficient in color matching.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Printing Assistant, you’ll support our press operators by preparing materials, mixing inks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met. You’ll work closely with press operators and production teams to help deliver high-quality printed materials used in packaging across the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee infrequently works near moving mechanical parts and is infrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is quiet – hearing protection is required on the manufacturing floor.

Protective Clothing/ Equipment Required:

Hearing protection, safety shoes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Additional PPE may be required as needed.
