Novolex is seeking a Printer Operator for Moorhead, MN on the night shift. Compensation is $24.29 per hour with a day shift available 7:00pm–7:00am and every other weekend off. The role requires operating packaging machinery safely, troubleshooting, quality control, and supporting teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely to standard levels of operation, controlling waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot and correct machine-related issues through proper adjustments.
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
• Support and guide less experienced personnel.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork accounting for crew time, machine time and quantities.
• Inspect and recognize defective product and adjust machines to fix defects.
• Observe housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and clear written and verbal communication.

Job Description

Printer Operator|Moorhead, MN

Compensation: Night Shift $24.29

Available Shift:

Day Shift - 7:00pm - 7:00am with every other weekend off

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
• Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
• Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
