Job Summary

The Printer I position is responsible for executing basic printing tasks, including running one-color, non-registered jobs, solids, and applying Kompac coating. This role requires foundational knowledge of printing operations, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The Printer I collaborates closely with the racking and inking departments to meet production goals efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate printing presses for one-color, non-registered jobs.
  • Follow job instructions to ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met.
  • Apply Kompac coating as specified in job instructions.
  • Maintain both quality and production standards throughout the printing process.
  • Perform routine press maintenance and cleaning after job completion.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Requirements

This is a Monday-Friday full-time position with working hours between 7am and 3:30pm with overtime as needed.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to stand for prolonged period of time and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
