Magna-Power Electronics, based in Flemington, New Jersey, seeks a PCB Assembler to build PCBs to specifications with careful hand and power-tool use. The role involves following diagrams, BOMs, and IPC standards while participating in pushing-line assembly to maximize output.

You will gain hands-on experience across components used in EV powertrains, semiconductor fabrication, and defense projects, with significant on-the-job training and collaboration with Magna-Power teams.

The PCB Assembler will assemble electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) according to company specifications. The assembler will use various hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, hand solder, and follow sample boards to determine assembly duties. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing set-up, forming, and staging of various components for PCB assembly
• Soldering through hole components and wiring assemblies

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; 4 year degree (Preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years related experience and/or training in electronics assembly
• Good mechanical aptitude and accurate use of various hand and power tools
• Capable of using different hand and tabletop tools related to manufacturing of PCBA's
• Execution of GDP in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and understanding of BOMs, assembly drawings and any other related manufacturing documents
