Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Print Tool Technician to ensure press readiness by maintaining tools, coordinating with production teams, and supporting efforts to minimize downtime. The role requires meticulous attention to tools and processes and collaboration with Prepress and Plant management.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on print manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in printing-related field.
• Print manufacturing experience preferred.
• Technical expertise in flexo, rotary screen and general printing processes.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical info into actionable tasks.
• Knowledge of color separations, press layouts, print specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Radius job management software experience is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Must lift/move up to 50 pounds repeatedly with ability to stoop, kneel and reach.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Print Tool Technician is responsible for performing all duties outlined in this job description, as well as any additional assignments provided by the Prepress Graphics Manager, Lead, or Plant Manager. This role is essential to ensuring efficient printing production by guaranteeing that the appropriate tools are available when required by the press and by maintaining timely communication with the production team to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
