Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing, machine operation, printing, packaging, or related production experience.
• Preferred experience with dry offset printing equipment, computer and software systems, quality control principles, SPC, organization, time management and basic troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to follow operating procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to complete training, safety, quality, documentation, and production requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, change over, and operate print and label production equipment in accordance with process parameters, production standards, and quality requirements.
• Operate machines at or above standard rates while packing finished parts to specification.
• Audit print quality throughout production runs and address defects or color variation with appropriate teams.
• Set up and operate key machine systems, including the vision system and packing sections with minimal assistance.
• Receive, issue, organize, and maintain label inventory within the designated storage area.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, equipment cleaning, and production area housekeeping.
• Complete required shift documentation and production paperwork for cross-shift continuity.
