Job description

Job Title: Principal Administrative Associate II (Print Shop Production Supervisor)

The Department of Social Services (DSS), part of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS), is seeking a Principal Administrative Associate II to oversee the Print Shop's packing and shipping department. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing procurement, maintaining order systems, providing project support, handling invoices, managing staff schedules, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Work Location and Schedule

Location: 103-00 Foster Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11236

Hours: Normal Business Hours

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of full-time clerical/administrative experience, including one year in a supervisory role; or
  2. Associate degree or 60 semester credits with four years of experience, including one in supervision; or
  3. High school diploma or equivalent with five years of experience, including one in supervision; or
  4. Equivalent education and/or experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
