Job summary

The Bernard Group is seeking a Print Project Manager to join our team in Chanhassen, MN. You will work with sales to plan, execute, and finalize projects for large and small format print and merchandising fixtures, while maintaining deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities include directing projects end-to-end, estimating costs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring brand standards are met. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • More than 3 years related experience in project management.
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience in print, large and small format print, digital print, merchandising fixture production and/or retail industry.
  • Experience working in a TPOP (temporary point of purchase) environment working with corrugated displays.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage projects from beginning to end with AE/AM and/or SPM to define print and fixture project scope, goals, deliverables, resources needed, time line, milestones and project costs.
  • Gather costs for estimating purposes based on understanding the clients’ expectations for the final deliverable product and the knowledge of material and labor costs required to meet those expectations.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies while planning for workback schedules, delivery and installation wait times, and coordination/hand-offs between outsourced product and in-house.
  • Make department managers aware of resources needed in a timely manner and communicate project deliverables and timeline per established TBG processes.
  • Contact and negotiate with contractors and freelancers within or below project cost budget and ensure all outside resources have a current NDA.
  • Produce projects using TBG’s systems (Pace) and follow established processes by staying current on job orders with ticket numbers and complete files.
  • Communicate data and other support information by e-mail and use project management tools to keep teammates aware of project status in real time.
  • Understand clients’ brand and design requirements and standards, and ensure teams comply.
  • Track milestones and deliverables with internal/external resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget shipping; manage scope changes.
  • Collect and document all expenses and prepare invoice information for Accounts Payable per established processes.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by Management.

The Bernard Group is looking for a Print Project Manager to join our team. You’ll work closely with sales staff to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. In this role, you'll focus on retail merchandising and the concept-through-delivery processes relating to large and small format digital print and/or design, prototype and production of merchandising fixtures and/or environments while establishing a strong relationship with many clients and the client’s team.

Shiftavailable: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

In this position, you will:

  • gather costs for estimating purposes based on understanding the clients’ expectations for the final deliverable product and the knowledge of material and labor costs required to meet those expectation associated with in-house or out-sourced production.
  • identifyand manageproject dependencies while proactively planning for workback schedules, domestic and international delivery and installation wait times, and coordination/hand-offs between outsourced product and in-house.
  • makedepartment managers aware of resources needed in a timely manner and communicateproject deliverables and timeline following established TBG protocol and processes.
  • contactand negotiatewith contractors and freelancers, as necessary, within or below project cost budget andensure all outside resources have a current, signed NDA (non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement).
  • produceprojects using TBG’s systems (Pace) & followestablished processes bystaying current on job orders with ticket numbers and a collection of complete files, art and data/distribution.
  • communicate data and other support information by e-mail and also use established project management tools and processes to ensure other teammates are aware of project status in real time.
  • understandtheir clients’ brand and associated design requirements and standards, as well as quality expectations and tolerances, and ensures the teams working on the projects are complying.
  • trackproject milestones and deliverables with internal/external resources, ensuring all projects are on track for shipping on time and on budget, while proactively managing project scope changes.
  • collectand documentall expenses for the project and will prepareinvoice information for submission to Accounts Payable per established TBG processes.
  • performmiscellaneous projects and completevarious tasks, as requested by Management.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - 80,000 annually
