Description du poste

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually

Position Overview

BankSupplies is seeking a detail-oriented, production-focused Print Production Technician to manage and support our growing in-house printing department. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining multiple printing systems, including pen printers, checkbook cover printers, and a rotary screen printing press, while developing the processes needed to produce consistent, high-quality products efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on screen printing experience and takes a practical, methodical approach to production. This is a manufacturing and production role focused on repeatability, quality control, process development, and meeting production deadlines rather than artistic printing or creative design.

This individual will take ownership of day-to-day printing operations while helping establish standardized procedures for new and existing products, materials, inks, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
  • Manage and execute daily in-house printing jobs from setup through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Operate and troubleshoot screen printing and specialty printing equipment, including our silk screen press and pen printer.
  • Coordinate production schedules, job priorities, and workflow with the Production Coordinator and Graphic Design Manager.
  • Prepare screens, inks, equipment, and materials for production using artwork supplied by the Graphic Design team.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
Process Development & Improvement
  • Establish, document, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to production efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Develop best practices for equipment setup, printing, quality control, and cleanup.
  • Proactively identify production challenges and recommend practical solutions.
Product Testing & Expansion
  • Test new products, materials, and printing applications to evaluate compatibility with existing equipment.
  • Assess production feasibility, print quality, efficiency, and potential limitations.
  • Document testing results and make recommendations for introducing new in-house printed products.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Design Manager to support the growth of in-house production capabilities.
Equipment Maintenance & Organization
  • Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Properly clean, maintain, and store screens, inks, tools, and related production materials.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or technical support as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production environment.
  • Monitor production supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with screen printing and print production equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of screen printing processes, materials, inks, and production techniques.
  • Ability to independently manage production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing or improving production processes and workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a growing production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating M&R Automatic Screen Printing Press and/or Systematic Automation Pen Printer.
  • Experience printing on promotional products, textiles, bags, plastics, or other specialty substrates.
  • Experience developing standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Experience evaluating new products and printing applications.
