Job summary

Coppin State University is seeking a Print Services Technician I to operate and maintain standard printing equipment for mass production of printed materials in the Postal Services Department. The role reports to the manager of Mail and Print Services and involves preparing materials, tracking production, and assisting with mail processing when needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of printer operation experience.

Qualifications

• Six months experience operating multifunctional printers for mass production.
• Experience in Mail Services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates standard printing equipment such as color and black and white multifunctional machines and finishing equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on machines according to procedures; cleans, adjusts and minor repairs.
• Prepares materials for printing and reviews job orders for specifications and schedules.
• Maintains production records and inventory of supplies; handles materials and stocks.
• Crosstrains with mail processing operations to cover mail/sorting tasks as needed.
