Position Summary

The Production Operator performs various functions within the center, including operating equipment, moving boxes, managing computers, filling out forms, sorting papers, following supervisor instructions, and communicating effectively with team members. The role mainly involves producing print, copy, and finish orders according to customer specifications and maintaining the production area and equipment.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and produce print, copy, and finish orders as requested or directed.
• Operate binding and auxiliary equipment.
• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and repairs.
• Provide customer service and problem-solving to meet customer needs with minimal supervision.
• Produce work following LEAN manufacturing principles to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Follow supervisor instructions and assist team members in center functions.
• Maintain work area to 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of related experience.
• Experience with FXO products & services preferred.
• Experience in a commercial print environment preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Meet all employment qualifications at the time of hiring.

Essential Functions

• Stand during entire shift, excluding breaks.
• Lift and move up to 55 pounds.
• Bend and twist at the waist and knees regularly.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Work cooperatively and follow instructions.
• Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Report regularly to work and maintain business hours.

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm.
