Job summary

SpeedPro Buford is seeking a Production Manager to lead the printing and production of client orders, ensuring fast turnarounds and high-quality output. This hands-on role requires strong project management and a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

You will work closely with the franchise owner, help establish systems, manage inventory, and ensure a strong brand presence across projects. This is a growth‑oriented, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing/working with vehicle graphics
• Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic/signage finishing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead the printing and production of client orders
• Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators, and plotters
• Sign Production and Finishing (printer/cutter operations, laminating, prepping jobs for shipping)
• Inspect customer files, provide proofs, and make graphics print-ready
• Produce graphics/ signage and coordinate with team to meet deadlines
• Unloading/packing deliveries to the studio and preparing for installation
• Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes
• General sign installation experience a plus

The Production Manager reports directly to the SpeedPro studio owner and is primarily responsible for producing various wide‑format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the franchise’s profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn‑around times, high‑quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.

Functions

• Lead the printing and production of client orders
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Large Format RIP software (preferably Onyx)
• Sign Production and Finishing (printer/cutter operations, laminating, taping, prepping jobs for shipping and simple installations)
• Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs, and make the graphics print‑ready
• Production focus, but must be knowledgeable in artwork layout, basic design and proofing, and prepping files for production
• Operate and maintain large‑format printers, laminators, and plotters
• Conduct inventory and procurement
  • The team can help with the actual ordering of materials, so long as you provide a list of what is needed
• Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
• Smaller graphic installations
• Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
• Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
• Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
• Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes
• General sign installation experience and or a construction background are a plus
• Full‑time position with competitive wages and benefits (compensation dependent on experience)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar program)

Compensation

$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
