Job summary

Arvato in Valencia, CA is seeking a Media Factory Lead to coordinate daily workflow and ensure orders meet internal service level agreements. You will direct Finishing Technicians & Digital Print Operators, manage USPS presort mailings, read production schedules, and adjust machine settings to meet specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience with perfect binders, saddle stitchers, Ricoh/Oce printers, and print management software, plus strong communication and leadership abilities to

Qualifications

• Familiar with high speed digital printing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Familiar with USPS presort practices and procedures.
• Hands on experience of perfect binders and saddle stitchers required.
• Hands on experience with Ricoh / Oce printers and print management software.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and interact with multiple teams and levels of staff.
• High school diploma or GED; 3-4 years in a print production environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads Finishing Technicians and Digital Print Operators.
• Ensures integrity and organization of USPS presort mailings.
• Engages as Digital Print Operator or Finishing Technician as needed.
• Reads production schedule to coordinate daily activity.
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Maintains daily operator maintenance records and output quality targets.
• Keeps accurate counts of consumables and communicates needs to management.
• Keeps bindery and print area neat and safe.
