BLR Holdings, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a highly detail-oriented Print Production Designer to translate creative concepts into production-ready files for large-format print, OOH, retail displays, and experiential installations.

You will own end-to-end pre-press, collaborate with print producers and vendors, manage color, substrates, proofs, and ensure accuracy across dielines and finishes while maintaining the original creative vision.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in print production design, graphic production, or pre-press.
• Strong understanding of commercial and large-format printing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of color management, CMYK/Pantone, profiles, resolution, bleeds, dielines, trapping, overprint, and file preparation.
• Experience preparing artwork for OOH, retail, environmental, or experiential applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into technically accurate, production-ready files for physical outputs.
• Own end-to-end pre-press from setup to final production release.
• Prepare mechanicals and production files per printer specifications.
• Conduct preflight checks for dimensions, resolution, color, bleeds, and trapping.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot issues and ensure manufacturability.
