Print/Production Assistant at Fastsigns NYU

Are you someone who enjoys graphic design and production? Are you a graphic designer or someone with extensive knowledge of signs that would like to learn how to do production? You could be a great fit for this role at a fast-paced Sign Company in Manhattan.

This full-time FASTSIGNS Graphic Production Assistant position is responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• Drivers license is required.
• Prior experience with signage and print production is preferred.
• Prior experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred.
• Proactive and willing to learn.
• Daily reports.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of signs, including cutting, laminating, mounting, and more.
• Follow a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on a predetermined substrate or medium.
• Prepare substrates for application, which may include cutting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application.
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
• Help with the installation of signs in the Queens/NYC area.
• Engage with clients on a regular basis, providing excellent customer service and handling queries.
