PRINT, PATTERN AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER - Sleepwear (Temp to Perm) - Hybrid

We are seeking a Print, Pattern, and Graphic Designer for Sleepwear. This is a temp-to-perm position with a leading fashion company in New York, NY. The role offers a hybrid work environment.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop seasonal patterns, colors, and graphics from concept to execution for line plans and product launches.
2. Collaborate with Design leads and Merchants to align with seasonal category needs.
3. Create artwork and colorways for yard dyes, jacquards, and fabric developments.
4. Maintain and update print charts, walls, archives, and boards for team reference.
5. Research new ideas internally and externally, and conduct competitor and trend analysis.
6. Integrate trend research with pattern, color, and production techniques.
7. Understand and utilize the brand's visual DNA, color, pattern, and graphic assets, ensuring trend relevance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion, Textiles, or Surface Pattern Design preferred.
2. 3-5+ years of relevant experience in print and textile design.
3. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
4. Ability to hand sketch.
5. Knowledge of print processes and techniques at production and mill levels.
6. Experience with placement/engineered prints and formatting for sketches and patterns.
7. Strong design, conceptual skills, and a keen sense of style and color.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaboration and influence.
