Job summary

Amcor is seeking Printing Operators at the Monroeville facility to monitor container and lid quality, follow safety guidelines, and keep the work area clean. You will report to shift leadership and perform routine tasks to support production.

Responsibilities include machine adjustments, completing shift paperwork, and collaborating with the team to meet specifications. You may halt presses if quality or safety is at risk.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality of containers and lids per specifications
• Follow all plant Life Saving Behaviors and safety guidelines
• Report injuries or unsafe acts immediately to leadership/HR
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping around the work area
• Perform miscellaneous tasks for Printing Department or other departments as needed
• Clean and adjust machine and auxiliary equipment to meet specifications
• Complete paperwork during or at end of shift as required
• Other duties as assigned by Printing Manager or Group Leader
• If quality expectations are not met, press may be shut down and technical staff called for assistance
• Printing Operators may make minor color adjustments and blanket changes with proper training
• Printing Operators have authority to stop production if conditions are hazardous or unsafe
• Follow GMP, SQF and ISO standards
