Job summary

REPAY is seeking a Print Operator to join our Operations team at the Piscataway, NJ facility. The role operates high-speed printing equipment to meet daily production needs, conducts quality checks, and assists with routine maintenance.

Training begins on the first shift (6:00am–2:00pm ET) with a post-training third shift (12am–8am ET). The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of high-speed printers, be able to perform operator adjustments, handle PC tasks, and lift up to 20 lbs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

REPAY is looking to hire a Print Operator to our growing team. The purpose of this job is to operate the high speed printing equipment to meet the daily printing requirements of the various jobs being worked on within REPAY's Operations department.

First Shift for training (~90 days): 6:00am - 2:00pm ET

Third Shift post-training: 12am - 8am ET

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep area clean. (i.e. Free of loose boxes, etc.)
• Keep open line of communication with other departments. (Machine operators / IT / QOS)
• Some minor maintenance of printers.
• When shift is complete make sure the following shift is aware of what is being left behind.
• Take daily print totals.
• Printing and Quality Checks.
• Inform Supervisor of low inventory.
• Operates computer consoles and printing equipment under the direction of Sr. Print Operator and Lead Print Operator, while learning the makeup, operating procedures, and structure of the Processing Center jobs.
• Responsible for setup and printing of production jobs, performing quality control checks, and performing general maintenance.
• Assists with operation and general maintenance of print area equipment.
• Assigns jobs to the appropriate digital printing equipment using the spooler software/tools.
• Executes the appropriate printer command files to print jobs.
• Prepares and stacks each job correctly for delivery to the finishing departments with appropriate paperwork/logs.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quality Test Methods (QTMs), and Quality Assurance (QA) processes within the Print center.
• Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of high speed printing equipment.
• Experience in the operator adjustments required to operate and run high-speed printers.
• Ability to perform basic PC tasks such as copying and moving files, creating directories, and editing files.
• Entry-level familiarity with Windows and DOS platforms.
• Competent analytical and problem solving skills as it relate to print operators.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and over time as required.
• Steel toed shoes are required for each shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
