Job summary

SURESTAFF is actively hiring a Material Handler in Elk Grove Village, IL to support production operations in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment. You will move materials, stock, and stage products to ensure on-time production and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, supplying departments, quality checks, and documentation using inventory systems. The role requires physical ability and teamwork in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, warehouse, or distribution environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and transport materials using pallet jacks.
• Supply paper, packaging materials, and production components to printing and finishing departments.
• Remove finished products from production lines and stage materials for shipping or downstream processing.
• Verify quantities, lot numbers, and product specifications while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Label, scan, and document material movements using inventory systems.
• Assist production teams with changeovers, material replenishment, and housekeeping activities.
• Stack, band, wrap, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
• Conduct routine quality checks to identify damaged materials or production defects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety policies, quality standards, and SOPs.
