Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in print, mail, or related manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of print production workflows and postal regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex job specifications.
• Experience with estimating software (PrintSmith, Pace, Avanti, Midnight).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for digital, offset, large-format, and direct mail projects
• Analyze job specifications, materials, labor, and production methods to determine accurate pricing
• Collaborate with sales to refine project scopes and provide pricing guidance
• Work with production teams to validate schedules, capabilities, and cost assumptions
• Maintain vendor relationships and obtain competitive quotes for materials and outsourced services
• Update and manage pricing databases, rate tables, and estimating tools
• Support job planning and handoff to production once projects are awarded
