IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for our esteemed client, a leading provider of digital, offset and print finishing solutions. We are spreading a wide net looking for the right individual that is up for the challenge of being our client's National Working CNC Routing & Cutting Equipment Sales Manager - Eastern United States. The active selling territory would include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, W. Virginia, and a handful of additional states that are under review. These states will be a candidate's territory to build and grow (you can live in any one of the states located in your territory). To be considered for this position, applicants need to be selling or have sold mechanical machinery in the printing, packaging, or machinery industry.

We are highly focused on finding candidates from the print, packaging, and/or machining industry and want a National Working CNC Routing & Cutting Equipment Sales Manager in a like company. We are looking for tenured, talented candidates who are great relationship builders with their team as well as clients. The candidate we are looking for must have high energy with a can-do attitude that shares their great vibe, knowledge, and experience throughout the organization. Willing to learn and willing to coach. We are looking for someone who is very detail-oriented and wants to share their talent with our Ohio-based client!

Territory currently being established for exciting new product lines that our client is the only distributor for: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, W. Virginia - additional state expansion coming soon! You can live in any of the Eastern states that you support for the Sales Manager position - the active selling territory will include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, W. Virginia, and a handful of additional states that are under review.

Compensation and Benefits:

Description of Duties:

  • Establish and execute business development strategies and coordinate all activities to achieve financial objectives of each Business Unit - as well as initially covering the Southwest territory in a sales capacity.
  • Develop a sales organization by acquiring new talent.
  • Establish detailed sales processes and metrics.
  • Coach sales team with hands-on approach with daily interaction.
  • Embody and represent our client company's brand to the market.
  • Identify customers, target markets, and have a lead generation process.
  • Capture market trends, customer strategic evolution.
  • Develop value proposition and go to market strategy.
  • Directly engage with customers promoting products and services.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers in support of marketing activities such as collateral material development, trade show selection, and product promotion campaigns.
  • Lead trade show activities.
  • Perform presentations to customers.
  • Quantify and qualify business development opportunities, win strategies, recommend pricing strategy.
  • Be the ultimate representative to each customer account and provide leadership to company's functional areas, QA, Product Management, Engineering.
  • Understand customer profiles, needs, and business models.
  • Perform sales and margin projections.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Comparable Professional Experience.
  • 8+ years of successful related work experience - sales & sales management.
  • Current valid & unrestricted driver's license and state minimum insurance. Must be insurable under company umbrella policy.
  • Ability to formulate solutions & sales plans that meet customers' needs.
  • Ability to quickly calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven sales skills.
  • Leadership track record.
  • Software proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HubSpot.
  • Applicants need to have sold mechanical machinery in the printing, packaging, or machinery industry.
