Our client, a children's apparel brand, is seeking a Graphic Art Manager to join their New York City based team! The ideal candidate will drive the evolution of both the creative output and the processes, technologies, and capabilities behind it, identifying emerging trends across culture, graphics, technology, and consumer behavior to uncover new opportunities. This role advances AI, creative technology, workflow,and technical execution.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor trends across fashion, retail, technology, and design to identify meaningful creative opportunities
- Translate trends into relevant, original, and commercially viable graphic concepts while encouraging thoughtful experimentation with new aesthetics, techniques, materials, and AI-enabled tools
- Identify and test AI, digital design, automation, and emerging technologies that can enhance creativity, efficiency, and productivity
- Develop practical tools, workflows, and guidelines that enable successful technologies to be adopted and scaled across the Art organization
- Optimize the artwork lifecycle by improving workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and establishing scalable standards and best practices
- Partner with Technology to strengthen systems, automation, asset management, and workflow visibility while maintaining creative flexibility
- Ensure artwork is technically accurate, production-ready, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities and standards
- Explore new production techniques and collaborate with Product Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, vendors, and Global teams to balance creative vision with execution.
- Connect creative, operational, technological, production, and commercial priorities across Art and partner functions.
- Identify opportunities, risks, and capability gaps; develop recommendations and business cases; and communicate priorities and progress to leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in apparel graphic design, art, creative development or related field
- Strong understanding of Apparel Graphics
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong AI skills and experience with AI workflows
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Proactive team player with strong initiative
- Experience leading innovation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
