Job summary

ANRO, INC is seeking a production support professional to drive estimating and planning activities for print jobs. You will coordinate with sales, customers, vendors and production to optimize cost options and scheduling, and you will manage jobs through the full workflow from customer specifications to POs, materials, and bindery layouts.

The role emphasizes strong math, analytical thinking, and proficiency with MS Office, Excel and EFI Monarch.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes high school diploma and technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of color, paper, and print-flow operations recommended.
• Print MIS systems experience with EFI Monarch or PSI preferred.

Collaborates and coordinates with Sales Force, customers, vendors and ProductionCoordinates with estimators for efficient cost options and with production for effective scheduling and may recommend changes or improvements. Makes decisions on production process and equipment based on job parameters, volume and cost.Manage jobs through work flow process including customer specifications and POs, scheduling, requisition raw materials and outside operations, bindery requirements and layouts.Planning may require creating new Print based jobs.Work efficiently and effectively to assure completion of production to meet customer demandEnsure jobs are entered into billing quickly and accurately.Performing other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by the managerEducational/Training/Experience:High School DiplomaTechnical School training desiredBachelor’s Degree preferredPreferred Education and ExperiencePrint Estimating and/or Job planning experience is preferred with 5 year historyKnowledge of color, paper, and print-flow operations highly recommended (including offset and digital sheetfed, digital webfed, wide format, bindery, finishing and direct mail.Knowledge of operations from layout to post press including finishing and mail is preferredFamiliar with Print MIS systems desired, EFI Monarch or PSIKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Skills include Organizational, Customer Service, strong problem solving, analytical and multitasking abilitiesExcellent math skills and measure in applying customer specifications including algebra, equations and geometryProficient in MS office, particularly excel and word and EFI Monarch softwareStrong oral and written communication skillsCritical thinking skills, problem solving, logical and practicalWorking independently or with a teamConscious of Quality, Safety and SecurityFlexible and able to work with deadlines, work load requirements and able to prioritize estimates based on customer and production demandsAdaptability Attendance/Punctuality
