Job summary

Papier-Mettler in West Virginia, USA, seeks a motivated machine operator for the paper printing and bag converting line. You will operate the machine, perform start-up and adjustments, and conduct regular quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.

You will report order status in the ERP, maintain clean and safe work areas, and participate in ongoing training. This is a 1:40pm–10:00pm shift with a family-run company offering strong growth prospects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of machine operating or mechanical experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Hands-on mentality required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Handyman skilled.
• Good knowledge of tools and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently or with a group of people.

Responsibilities

• Operate paper printing and bag converting machine.
• Perform start-up of machine and adjustments if necessary.
• Fix minor machine issues independently.
• Perform regular quality checks on finished product.
• Report order status on ERP system.
• Clean the machine regularly.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Carry out any other assigned duties.
• Shift from 1:40pm to 10pm.
