From our southern NH campus of facilities, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Principal Senior Electrical Engineer!

You will be joining an Agile engineering team at a dynamic company that values technical excellence. The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our Design it Right initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.

The duties assigned to this senior engineering position will include the following:

  1. Translate system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs.
  2. Analog and High Frequency RF design and Layout.
  3. Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting using complex RF Test equipment.
  4. Integrate and evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a laboratory environment.
  5. Simplify the Engineering Service Model, knowledge transfer by mentoring junior engineering talent.
  6. Create design documentation and verification test procedures.

It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Solid fundamentals of RF/analog/power/mixed signal electronics.
  3. Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools.
  4. Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  1. Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB, PWB) design using Cadence tools.
  2. Experience with RF Design tools such as Keysight Genesys, ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS.
  3. Experience with RF cascade analysis and frequency planning for RF conversion.
  4. RF circuit design experience high frequency board stack-ups and trace routing (to 40 GHz), lumped element filter design, RF signal chain design (LNAs, mixers, LO/frequency generation, equalizer, filters, attenuators, switches).
  5. Strong hands-on lab skills with ability to prototype and test RF circuits experience with network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, signal source analyzer.
  6. Experience in Power Supply (AC to DC / DC to DC) design.
  7. Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments.
  8. Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes.
  9. Experience with Electronic Warfare systems, radar systems, or RF software defined radio (SDR) hardware.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
