Mastercard is seeking a highly experienced Principal Workday Technical Architect to define and drive the long-term architecture strategy for Workday and the broader People & Capability technology ecosystem. This role serves as a technical authority for Workday and the broader HR technology architecture, integrations, extensibility, security, data management, and platform modernization. The Principal Architect partners with business leaders, product, engineering, security, and governance teams to deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and future-ready solutions that support Mastercard's global workforce. The successful candidate will combine deep Workday and broader HR technical expertise with enterprise architecture experience, bringing thought leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on architectural guidance across HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, and adjacent domains.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
